You and I both know that we can order just about anything online. I enjoy the thrill of finding a “gotta have” in the bins or at a record show. Fortunately I get around a fair bit so hunting is possible.

My first new jazz reissue bought at Amoeba Hollywood my first visit. I miss the original funky 30,000 sf store. Great album, goofy cover, but memorable, so a successful effort by the art department I suppose.

I got to the Amoeba store in LA in 2020, just before Covid shutdowns occurred. I am gonna say it was Hollywood, it was a huge store, got a couple of LPs. I’ve been to the Haight Ashbury store probably 5 or more times. I used to have to go to SF for meetings. I always went in a day ahead to hit some of the record stores and more.
