This one isn't really power pop but it fits into 'related genres' I guess, so that fans of pp will most likely appreciate this too. I've seen it described as psych (I guess neo-psych), but I don't really see it as that either.

A drastically underrated final effort. It deserved a far better fate than what it got. If it had been promoted correctly and been a big hit, would Tom Evans have seen enough light in his life not to kill himself? Guess we'll never know.

Tough one. I'd love to see Wilco and Nick Lowe would be a great opener/bonus. Some friends of mine hired a local singer/songwriter to play a house party where we charged everybody a cover and she split the money with a charity cause (a friend's family whose 1 year old daughter was diagnosed with terminal cancer... she made a full recovery and has been cancer free for about 2 years now).

Anyway, the singer's name is Christina Martin. She's a great person and we had lots of time to chat with her between sets etc. She was telling us that she'd just returned from Texas where she had opened for Wilco for a couple of dates there and got to hang with the band a bit.
