Tonearm Slides on Turntable When Starting

33.33 rpm
20 minutes per side +/-
667 rotations (grooves) start to finish

Close enough

stylus gets "dragged" through the vinyl approximately........12"D = 6"r

circumference at outer edge pi * D = 3.14 * 11.5" = 37.11"
circumference upon reaching dead wax pi * D = 3.14 * 5" = 15.7"
averaging the inner and outer circumference (37.11 + 15.7) / 2 = 25.9"

so...... 667 rotations * 25.9" = 17275" = 1440' = more than a quarter mile

a stylus is dragged through over a quarter mile of groove for each LP album side

I could be wrong, but it seems like I did this correctly
