Top three vintage speaker, vote please!

Greetings fellow Audio Brethren
Please vote, so comrades,fanatics,addicts, Audiopools, and myself can learn and contemplate fine older speaker designs, please submit you vintage speaker top three contenders.

Please explain what makes that particular speaker model special, in your opinion. and start as many flame wars as needed to get to the truth,(just kidding!)

Man, this question can cover a lot of ground. What comes to mind first, for what type of use will the speakers see? Room size comes into play and also listening habits.

Disregarding most of that:
Large Advent: A classic, sealed design from a legend that does a lot of things right. Easy on the ears.
Altec Monitor or VOTT: Any of the Altecs with the 15" woofer and a compression horn. Just about as dynamic and lifelike as you can get.
JBL Studio Monitors: Clear and rockin', from the West Coast.
Dynaco A25: A two-way aperiodic box with quality drivers and a sweet sound. The price was also very right.
Along with the above I'd have to give a vote for Maggies, ADS, Dahlquist's, and the ESS monitors.
 
Three speakers have remained in my memory because of their sound.
Quad ESL 57 and I heard only one of them
Magneplanar spectacular soundstage.
Epicure 3.0, those highs were amazing
 
JBL L100 Century...the best selling JBL of its line, and a classic for the ages.

Quad ESL-57...the flagship bearer for electrostatic, Britain's finest.

Klipsch Klipschorn...the longest continuous production run speaker, 61 years and counting.

All three are relatively affordable, respected, and given a $400 system, would make fine music today.

I could be happy with almost any speaker on that list. I've owned four of them and never had a really bad thing to say, just different preferences.
 
All right here goes. The Craig's I wired on the back dash of my first car. Some cheap-ass Fishers that came with my first home set-up and finally a pair JBL Apollo's I'm going to steal from this guy. Not really, but the JBL's would be my choice. So, I guess my point is that even though these speakers were crap those were the best days of my life. If only we could go back!

I wish I could say what the top three speakers but not hearing them I can't.What I think they are is.The JBL monitors,Yamaha NS-1000,Altec 19 and maybe Klipschorns.Would like to hear some Carver Amazings.Keep in mind this is purely speculative.

The top three on my wishlist right now would have to be:

Pioneer HPM 100's
Polk Monitor 10's
Acoustic Research AR90's

Not sure if the first two will pan out for a while, but I have a pair of AR90's waiting for me to pick them up at my dad's friends house. Supposedly they are in great shape and he just wants to get rid of them. Now I just need to find the space and something with more juice than my Yamaha receiver to drive them.
