If you heard these on a system deserving of them, you may quickly retract "ridiculous" from your post.

The seller is also including a fairly expensive pair of cables as well. When you reach a certain point with a system, cable can make or break the sound. Folks who cannot hear the difference ain't there yet.

Vince Bruzzese does a GREAT job with Totem , not to mention he has a daughter who is an absolute knockout. Having met them both and also hearing most of the Totem line, this old dog was duly impressed.

The 6"Hi-Vi woofer is $74$ ea at Madisound.
The aluminum Seas tweeter is $48$ ea.
The cabs interiors are harder to build, but places like Zalytron can make custom boxes for about $200 EA. So, its more like $800-$1000 with xover parts.
