Transistor markings Questions

I bought some transistors (ksc1845) (ksc945) (ksc945c) from Mouser, they sent the transistors with different first letters, they sent (JJC), is this right?

because the first letters come out different, I asked for (ksc1845) (ksc945) (ksc945c) and they sent (JCC)

It's just a manufacturers code - the device name/number is what counts.

You are right to query it, as there could be occasions when it isn't right. But the informed AK membership has spoken and you are good to go. ;)

Be careful with the pinout; the KSC1845 follows the B-C-E pinout, not E-C-B, as with the 2SC458.

You are right, sorry guys, about that. I am getting old.
What I meant is that the pinout is different, you have to rotate 180 degrees to install the KSC1845 in place of the 2SC458

My 747dbx has a very low channel, as the VU works normally, could this problem be on the pre-amplification board?
