Here's a CL ad for a "Tube driven Harman Kardan receiver." Probably a nice little SS unit for fourty bucks or so. Maybe the seller thought the cans were tubes?

I had an A 330 and it sounded like tubes but alas no it had none.

If it's REALLY clean it's worth half the asking. But it'll sound excellent with a pair of A25s.

I think the tubes pushed the power up to 130 watts...

There was a listing on the Detroit area CL that would pop up from time to time.
It showed a Pioneer SA7500 II amp, and TX7500 II tuner.The seller stated that the amp didn't work,but all it needed was a tube...
He claimed he had it done before......:sigh:
