tube identification

I picked up some tubes and a Dared SL-2000A in a divorce sale and was hoping someone (or everyone) could help with the proper identification.

At some point it will all be for sale but it would be nice to know exactly what I have. With the exception of the Raythons all of these are matched pairs.

Thanks

Here are the remainder of the tubes. The Bendix is an oddball that happened to be in the box.

No hi demand power amp tubes, just the 6K6 No great demand.
The other tubes are essentially useful for construction of guitar or HiFi amps, any of them can be used for preamps, all the small ones appear to be dual triodes.
The 5Z4's you already know.

They are all as marked on the tubes and boxes: 5965s, 6201s, 12AT7s, E81CCs, etc, etc.

You got some nice Europeans there that probably are worth some decent coin as the Telefunken 5965 and Siemens E81CC could be worth $20+ each. And the triple mica Raytheon 6414 can go for $60/pair.

I don't know what you paid, but you could sell some of those tubes and get some decent cash to offset the cost, perhaps even pay for the purchase.

Thanks for the information. This is why I wanted to ask because it seems there are variations on the theme and all are different. If I managed to find the correct tubes on his site Brent Jessie listed the Telefunkens at $199.00 to $299.00 a pair.

I bought the Dared for about the going rate on the auction site with all of the tubes included.

Well, Brent Jesse can ASK what he wants; the prices I gave were from CLOSED eBay sales, so they are actual sales, not wannabes. There's only 2 closed eBay sales for Telefunken 5965s with better graphics than yours and both were under $90/pair.

$230/pair for Jess's Telefunken smooth plate 12AX7s is pretty steep. Nice pairs can be had on eBay all day for under $100.

Jesse is not the best metric for evaluation...

I understand exactly what you are saying. It is why I wanted to ask here before doing anything silly to embarrass myself.

Cool link battradio. I am not sure I understand everything it is trying to convey but definitely educational.

The Bendix rectifier is an industrial spec 5Y3GT. probably its a spare for the rectifier in there if I had to guess at it. Its a rather nice one too, probably cost a couple of bucks.

5Z4 is also a 5Y3 sub - indirectly heated. 5Z4 will give a little more output voltage than 5Y3, 6106 a little less. All the small tubes are versions of or subs for 12AT7.
