Tubes !!!!!!!!!!!!

Register to hide this ad
There are a few posts about this around here. It is legit from all I've read. I think a few people have bought from them.

Why? If he's legit and willing to ship, what's to flag?

Users may flag postings they believe to be in violation of craigslist guidelines, by clicking on one of the flagging links at the upper right corner of each posting:

* miscategorized - wrong category/site, discusses another ad, otherwise misplaced
* prohibited - violates craigslist Terms of Use or other posted guidelines
* spam/overpost - posted too frequently, in multiple cities/categories, or is too commercial

Very true Eastpoint, but if they guy is legit, and has a LOT of tubes he needs to sell, and people are looking for good tubes at good prices, then why make it harder for him to sell them, and harder for people to find a good deal on some?

OK, I guess it's against the TOS, but it isn't really an obnoxious or misleading ad. I don't see the problem with it.

He can learn to follow the rules, same as everyone else. When I have stuff to sell, I advertise on Milwaukee Craigslist. Not every Craigslist in the nation. I mean, if I have a question about a tube amp, why shouldn't I just post in on every single forum on Audiokarma? Surely that would make it easier for people to see my question and answer it.

Is there a national classified ad website that one can use for this? eBay isn't set up for that kind of selling. As I say, it may be afoul of the rules, but I don't see it as fundamentally against the spirit of Craig's List. Now if turns out that the ad is a front for one of the big tube sellers that would be different, but if it's legit - a family liquidating their accumulation from a family business, I see no harm.

I got some tubes from the seller. Seems like he has mostly RF tubes, not much for outputs. You will get nice tubes though.
