Turntable on Craigs list

The real problem with those tables is the propritary cartride they use, and the price they run..

What concerns me more is that you are apparently ready to buy this table without knowing anything about it. If you do your homework and are lucky enough to find a B&O table in excellent condition, it will cost you. Plus, as similost notes, they use proprietary cartridges, which are also rather costly if you can find one.

A replacement cartridge is available for most B&O turntables. The specs on these new ones rival the specs of most modern cartridges that cost about the same or more.

The question boils down to....are you willing to invest in a table like this? B&O decks are great performers, and have great looks. I bit the bullet on mine, and love every minute of it.

Are you talking about this thread? To me it seems like the OP is trying to do his research, here. As in "Does anyone know the model/year/specs/value etc. of this B&O TT." Did you look at the craigslist post?
