The tweeter is a JVC ribbon tweeter, also sold at Radio Shack for a time but never in mauve. Looks like the owner decided to Silly String a Peerless woofer and I have no idea what the midrange drivers were before they were desecrated.

Everytime I hear that "Don't eat the brown acid" on the Woodstock album, I always thought what a even WORST TRIP it would have been for the person who heard the announcement, and had just dropped the stuff 10 minutes before it..............

That's a nice planar tweeter - I suspect it is the R/S version and not the JVC but I keed you not; it's very sweet and pretty sensitive, too.
