Uh oh, more JBLs (L20Ts)

Those turned out gorgeous!! You have given me much inspiration on what to do with my L20Ts Unfortunately my cabinets are quite a bit rougher. 2 have quarter size pieces of venier missing, and all have a bunch of screw holes in the back from being hung (multiple times it looks like). The ones without venier missing I may try filling the screw holes with wood putty and finishing. The others I may just venier over. (All this in my vast quantity of free time!) Either way, your thread has given me some ideas, thanks for posting your pictures.

Cool! Post pictures when you can.

check the BT forum, 62sunbeam (Eric) has some nice veneer for sale and shouldn't cost much since the size is small with these speakers.

Zonker, any updates on how your friend likes his speakers? I alway thought it would take a bit to break in the charge coupled crossovers. Any particular ideas on choices of caps? Also, what was your impression of them versus the 250's? David vs Goliath, or slugger vs. bat boy?

All I know is that Jim likes them, and that recently he put them up on some nice stands. He said the imaging is marvelous; both side to side and front to back.

I ran them (without batteries, because I didn't have any) for about twenty minutes against my 250s (perched atop them), and they really did very, very well. I had them cranked up to fill my whole living room with sound, and you could swear sometimes the 250s were playing. I have no A-B switch so instant comparisons were impossible.
