Underrated Kenwoods?

Kenwood KA-8006. Sweetest 70 watts I’ve heard. Lots of flexibility with tone controls. Killer phono stage. Only wish it had pre ins and outs.

I agree. The Ka-8006 (and Ka-6004 it's just a little behind) it's the best amp i've heard to date.

Sure, the Kenwood KR-6030. Nice unit, easy to work on for the most part. 80 watts per channel mine works well, can't put above 2 on the volume or the neighbors complain. When they do I hit the loudness lever.

The Kenwood components from 1978 to 1980 are underrated.
I think the early 80s that looks like BPC can be good too. KC/KM separates come to mind. cheap, easy to repair, cheap, and just works (and cheap).
My L series gear still beats them all (but not cheap).
