Unique & Distinctive Speakers

Interesting - I'm curious how the bass sounds - at least at some, if not all, locations, you'd think there wouldn't be because of cancellation of the front wave by the back. But perhaps there is some cunning use of multiple wavelengths interacting.

They were at Axpona audio show which Absolute Sound said best sounding speakers of the show. They also said they needed a sub.
 
I would hope that a speaker with 13 drivers would not need a sub. I would definitely modify 1 or 2 (or 3!) of the crossovers.
 
Paul Drewry: if you know anything specific about the system you posted, could you tell us more? I'm specifically interested/puzzled by what appears to be a line array in the middle of what appears to be a gigantic midrange horn or waveguide. Is that what it is, and are they Jordan Watts modules in the line array?

I've had that pic for so long I can't remember where it came from. I kept it to show my wife things that could possibly be. She just gave me "the look".
