Updating "Sansui Circuit Boards by Model" in AK database

I noticed that the "Sansui Circuit Boards by Model" pdf in the database is incomplete and was last posted in 2008 so I decided to add some updates. @Hipocrates kindly provided a csv file extraction of the data in the pdf that I used as the starting point for my updates.

Efforts so far:
- Formatted similar to the style used by @KeithD in the comparison of Sansui Definition and Professional series boards thread, because it makes sense to me.
- Grouped the models by 'family' (e.g. the AU-xxx models are together, AU-x900 models are together, etc.)
- Added information for the missing models where I have downloaded service manuals.
- Added place holders for the some of the amplifiers listed in the Sansui Product History: Amplifiers 1967-2000 thread

What's missing:
- Most of the receiver models have no entries or even place holders.
- Nice formatting and color highlights for boards used in multiple models
- Some boards have no descriptions/names

I've added the information that I have now, but I don't intend to take on a one person job of downloading dozens of of SM's to completely fill the table. I will however add in the board lists for any additional models that someone wants to contribute.

Since this is a work in progress, feel free to give me some feedback on the board naming, model groupings etc. For example Sansui frequently attached "Circuit Board" to each name and I kept that, but it seems totally redundant, should those extra words be dropped?

I'm attaching a csv of the update for any interested parties to take a look at.

Edit: Just to be clear, this is also a low key request for contributions of the missing board information. PM is probably the least messy way to do that

I put this caution in the other thread but it needs to be repeated here.

Keep in mind, Sansui had a bad habit of using the same board number but configuring the board differently for different models. So if swapping boards, look before you leap.

Absolutely right! I've been mulling over how to communicate the issue in the update.

I know of at least one case where 3 amplifier models use the same board but the layout supports 2 different circuit topologies and there are component loading and value differences depending on which amplifier the board was intended for.

I've also seen a few discussions about dropping same numbered boards from one model into another without apparent repercussions

The only thing I see is that the high end series of integrated amps, the AU-9900 through AU-20000, is incorrectly labeled “AU-x19 Series”.

Here's my latest. After fixing up any additional errors or omissions that get flagged, I think I will leave this effort for the time being.

I'd like to contribute the source spreadsheet in case someone wants to pick up the effort of filling out the tables. It's not clear to me what spreadsheet format to leave this in, google sheet/excel/Libre Office Calc, etc. I'm using Libre Office which can write an older version of Excel format but what do you all think is most supportable?

I've added the extra models. I'll wait a while to see if there are any other additions before getting this into the AK Database

I did this comparison of boards in the single digit receivers, and included the AU/TU-999 for comparison as a contemporary. The main takeaway is how similar the Six and Seven are and how different the Eight and Eight Deluxe are.

No further additions or changes have been suggested so I'm stopping with the file as attached. This is what I submitted for inclusion in the database.

I'd like to also make the spreadsheet available so someone else can pick it up if the motivation for more additions grabs them. Is there a standard way to make the base spreadsheet file available? I'm using Libre Office so I can save as .ods or .xls.
