Using good tuner to repair bad tuner

Hello everyone again. Just as I thought to have completely solved the “no stereo” problem, I realized that the capacitance of my hand was being added to the trimmer that I was holding. My intention was to adjust the trimmer and then remove it to measure the capacitance . But I realised that as soon as the trimmer was released from my hand, the stereo would not play ”stereo” anymore . Again holding the trimmer the stereo would get restored .
Could anyone know how to find the capacitance induced by me touching the trimmer?

And if I mounted the trimmer on a bread board, the stereo effect would not be there.
