Using Rega Exact 2 Cart on the Pioneer PL-630 ???

Can the Rega Exact 2 cartridge be used on the Pioneer PL-630?Basically I'm asking if it sounds ok or are there proprietary carts? I have been searching for info on this but cannot find anywhere on the web where someone has used the Exact 2 on any other table than the Rega.
