Using TAPE OUT for active speakers

Why not just have another source? Why the run from the amp?

Good point, it it just that I have all my set up with the amp, the turntable and all the vinyls in one spot. I would like to have speakers in the game room when I play vinyls, but I don't want to duplicate all that setup.

I have used canare quad mic cables for long runs around 100ft from tape outlets and line outs with no issues as they are woven shielded not just wrapped in some foil you can buy bulk from some pro audio stores
Another brand I am trying now is sommer cable and are excellent
I have also used some 1:1 ratio transformers in sensitive equipment and have not measured any losses under 120 ft ,of course having good transformers are beneficial

That type of cable really is intended for balanced connections.

A low capacitance coaxial cable is the more correct "tool" for the job.

Considering Tape Out impedance isn't stated, one should be mindful of cable capacitance as a precaution as possibly high-ish source impedance does play more into the effect of capacitance on HF roll off. I don't know it will be a problem, but it is a consideration.

It's not super expensive, but Belden 1505F is a well-shielded, low capacitance coaxial cable. If it is an "install" type situation where flexing considerations isn't too much, 1505A solid core might be a bit lower cost.

But, one could quite likely successfully use some long cables from Monoprice. An RG59 or RG6 type cable is likely to be at least decently shielded and reasonably low capacitance.

Here's an example. They're $30 each for 100 footers. Of course, you'd need two for stereo.

Kpangolo I don't personally do this anymore as my hands are like bear paws,but we employ a young tech who does our work
We use neutrick ,vampire connectors
B&h photo has a pro audio department that sells bulk cable including mogami which is popular in studio long runs
It's not hard to make your own and some inmates offer their services on barter town
