V15 IV Replacement Stylus

You're welcome.

There are only 2 sources of JICO styli that were built like those originally supplied with Shure cartridges, that is JICO's website and EMJ. All others I've seen are inferior in terms of build quality. I'm only commenting on what I can see with a 4x jeweler's loupe. Shure built quality styli, especially those that were manufactured in the USA. I have a couple of dozen examples.

The JICO styli I have sound just as good as the originals, in some cases, like the SC35C, even better than the current oem stylus supplied with it.

EMJ?

I see. Under the circumstances, you made the right choice in getting the lower cost option. I think that the SAS stylus was not be a good choice to begin with for the Technics tone-arm. I would use an SAS stylus in a lower mass set-up. If you ever decide to move up the food chain, the JICO VN45HE is the best choice for the V15 type lV if mounted in the Technics tone-arm. It's almost identical in sound and build quality as the original Shure VN45HE and it has an effective stabilizing brush to help deal with a higher mass tone-arm.
