The power cable in my 2 WQ sub is very old and brittle and it might even be shorting out at times.This sub is a monster so I kind of want to repair it myself here at the house so that I don't get a hernia.
But i don't want to start unscrewing stuff unless I know what the disassembly process is.
It looks like the power-amp section is held in place with a few Phillips screws in the back where the connections and the cooling fins are.
Is that all there is to it? I'll take out the screws and slide out the power amp? Or is there anything else I might have to do to get to where the power cable connects?
