I have been at work comparing subwoofers, to get the best value for money. I will study something to death, sometimes for years. The subwoofers I plan to get are the ported PC-2000 from SVS, but to make sure I decided to overlay the frequency response charts provided by SVS's website for the sealed sb-2000, since I like sealed sub sound. Plus they are a little less $, so why not?
Now, just for fun, I also included the top of the line, more than twice as much costing SB-16 Ultra, because it is one I have heard in person. The results surprised me, and helped me make my decision.
Keep in mind that the Ultra's response does not denote maximum output capability.
I was feeling a little sore for not being able to afford two sb-16's but after looking at the data, now I don't.
