Very rare Kenwood on the Gon

This is the same old pirate operating yet another user ID. (Papi Chulo anyone?)

Typically selling Japanese home market stuff shipped over to the US.

whatever the case, the L-02A is a really special amplifier, and deserves to be put up there with the best gear of its peers.

Not clear how we've established that this our old friend Louis. I'm interested in this unit but would definitely steer clear if it were him.

update

I asked the seller the input voltage. He said 100, 120, 240, "whatever you want." I was kinda thinking more along the lines of what the amp wants.

Now I've asked him about shipping costs and whether he'll take PayPal if I pay the fees.:scratch2:

Well, he's full of crap. If this is a Japanese home market model (like many of his other listings) it's not safe to run it on US household current without a transformer.

I'd avoid this guy like the plague!

That is just plain awesome !! Love it !! Thanks for the image !! Best regards, vsat88.

"220...221, whatever it takes!"

I informed Axel over at thevintageknob of this guy's resurfacing.

Axel had a look at the link to Audiogon and the 'vintage_sansui' listing. He replied to my post, that most of the pictures are lifted from recently completed auctions on the Yahoo Japan site. The rest were lifted from a Japanese seller who has a reputation for selling broken items.

Makes a lot of sense doesn't it.

Current Audiogon status for this guy:

"This seller's listing is Suspended."

If we all remain vigilant we can continue to make life difficult for this fellow.
