How do I identify this Magnavox console amplifier?

Attached is a pic of the tube arrangement. Does that help?

I think the "CR-197" at the bottom of that paper is the model. So yes, that does help.

It's a mono push-pull 6v6 amp on an integrated tuner chassis. It's not the typical chassis configuration people look for in order to convert to a stand alone tube amp. ... but we don't know your plans. Would make the bones of a nifty guitar amp if you were so inclined.

I don't believe that radio chassis would be a good candidate for a guitar amplifier. The radio and amp are on one chassis and it most likely has a field coil speaker.

Having a field coil speaker is not really a bad thing but in order to be a half way decent guitar amp, it would need another gain stage because as it sits right now, it probably has a ceramic phono input which is similar to an AUX or line level input.
