Vinylengine.com - can't log in.

I don't have to - I click on my bookmark and I'm in...with one account. The other one worked like that as well, before "I made the choice" to force the two-step verification, that doesn't work there, upon myself.

OK. How old is your computer? I'm working with a 17 year old iMac. Thing are different with vintage.

And I have some unusual security measures.

It makes you authenticate through email then keeps you logged in. Probably will make you re-auth after being away for a period of time.

Behaviour depends on browser settings or/and usage habits. Personally I always log out of my usual hifi forums and, while haven't set Firefox to automatically delete all stored/cached cookies and website data on exit, I usually also manually let it delete all cookies and website data every day, before I go to bed. Hence I also had the problem with VE, 'cause the required cookie for remembering me was gone - whereas users, who haven't logged out or/and deleted their cookies, weren't affected.

That being said, JaS has returned in the meantime and already fixed the problem this afternoon (GMT), so the email-based login is working again.

I've had an account at vinylengine.com for at least 10 years. They recently moved to passwordless login where you enter your email address and they email you a temproary login code and I have logged in that way a few times, but today I'm getting an error "Sorry, but there was an error sending the email, SMTP Error: Could not authenticate." Is anyone else having this problem. There is a contact page for problems logging in but there is a message there "Please Note Due to work commitments, the contact form is closed until Sunday 13th September"
I think it was a temporary problem that affected members across most regions worldwide. Seems to be sorted. Try again.

Best

To make myself clear: I'm not complaining, but merely reporting what's happening.

The laptop just turned the age to be allowed to drink legally (it's 18 here). Running Windows 10 Pro and Google Chrome. The age isn't the problem.

Yes, and the verification/authentication worked fine, if I have logged out...but only with one account/profile.

I also had the problem with VE, 'cause the required cookie for remembering me was gone - whereas users, who haven't logged out or/and deleted their cookies, weren't affected.
If I clean (Revo Uninstaller) Google cookies, it affects all Google accounts/profiles, no? Well, one account has let me log in, the other (which worked fine before) not.

It now works with different accounts and/or browsers (Google Chrome, Opera and Microsoft Edge tested) just fine. Don't know about IPs yet.
