I've never owned one but that model or similar models have been paraded many times on this site. Do a search.......I'm too lazy! 
It is tube and if memory serves, the amplifier most likely contains 6AQ5 output tubes in push/pull. Good for about 10 watts per channel.

Mine has 6bq5's in pp. Sounds pretty good (I'm not using the original speakers). The tuner works pretty well and can be modded to work as a stand-alone unit fairly easily.
The biggest issue is that you have to use the preamp with the power amp, or else add another socket or two to the power amp chassis, and the layout doesn't lend itself to easy mods. However, the preamp tubes should be mullards and the 6bq5's are GE's, at least in mine, so if the price is decent it is definitely worth checking out.
