WALPOLE, MA - new location for the (air conditioned) New England SweatFest!!

Before I post what I am suggesting, in all seriousness, would discussion of a raffle of equipment be against forum rules?

Anything over the "reserve price" in terms of raffle sales could go back to AK in the form of a donation.

Whatever it would be it would have to have fairly wide appeal.
We could do a 50/50 raffle with half going to AK though.
At $5 a ticket everybody could buy one.

I don't have much of a life...but that weekend i do.

Ok, it looks like I'm going to be able to come down for the fest-

since I've never been to one of these could some one give me a run down on what you do, what kind of stuff I should bring, etc.

I've heard workshops mentioned as well as swap meet type stuff, how do they work?

I've got so much to learn that this is really exciting:banana:

Don't listen to Baco99....bring so much stuff that at the end of the day you walk up to me and say "Tony...you want some free stuff?"

Or you could always bring a large van and lots of cash, show up early and buy everything you see..:D

Or just show up and enjoy the event. It looks like there will be more.....
 
Don't forget to bring some snacks and drinks.
We can work up a serious appetite whilst honing the art of BS'ing!

I'll come bearing cookies and possibly some nice audio gear to play with/trade. Looks like my lovely companion (not Tony, obviously) will be bringing along my birthday present so everyone else can enjoy my suffering at growing older.
