Warp in new record - would you keep or return?

This is the 2011 Sundazed reissue of "The Fantastic Expedition of Dillard and Clark" album (LP 5344). I'm quite disappointed at the quality control (or lack thereof). The record sounds fine and plays through without skips, but I find this amount of warp borderline (un-?)acceptable. What do you guys think? Keep or return for an exchange?

Well new records have warps, always has been a problem for decades, but if it excessive I would ask for an exchange. Sound Stage Direct will open a record prior to shipping to check it for you. If you bought it at a store simply after payment open it right there and check it out in front of cashier.

That is a return for sure.

I seem to be returning almost every Capitol reissue. I had to do one Columbia for and infinite loop but they've otherwise been pretty good, sometimes some dirty sleeves. Every last Warner Bros. and affiliated disc has been flawless. The other labels i havent purchased enough to know if my problems or great discs are the rule or an anomoly.

Typically, my experience with indies is really good so here's hoping that's a fluke for you

Sounds like I need to do more shopping with Sound Stage Direct

Thank you all for your assessment. I bought this from a store on Discogs. I'll contact them. It'll have to wait a little, though, as it looks like my wife and I are going to have a baby in a couple of hours.

Act now! Doctors are standing by...

;)

Return the record, keep the baby. Yes, toss the bathwater, and keep baby then too.

Congratulations!
