What are these?

Scott integrated and tuner? But the wire caged pieces are…amps? but two completely different ones.

And the black box … a modern marantz power amp or something entirely different?

I had just about given up on gear but still go browsing for cd's. today, I found a nakamichi OSM 1 CD player for $12

Pretty happy. It will be a keeper.

Picked up a Harman Kardon AVR 635 7.1 receiver with remote in good shape for $25. This thing is a beast at over 40 lbs., great sounding with gobs of power. Retailed for $1300 new. Gonna use it for 2 channel listening in a spare room.

Got one myself for 60 bucks off craigslist.

WHATEVER YOU DO, don't cover the top. Better yet, put an iron skillet on it, and crack some eggs in it from time to time.

They run STUPID hot.

Got all of these for $40. I have no clue what I am going to do with them but for $40 I'll find something. Everything in very good shape cosmetically speaking.

The 636 is damn near perfect. Has scratchy volume and balance knobs and needs a couple of light bulbs. The tape player needs several mechanical parts and a good cleaning but is basically functional; just sounds crappy. The TT works but the needle is a little bent. Unfortunately the tuner was DOA but for 40 bucks I'm not complaining.

Marantz 32

Found a really nice condition (engraved face) Marantz Model 32 at a garage sale this morning.
Powered up fine with the dim bulb tester so far. Will test output soon.
$25.
Getting sick of finding stuff at yard sales. Makes me get up early and drive fast on Saturday mornings.

Not many sales on this weekend here in Toronto Canada, since it is long weekend (Canada day) but I did manage to find this 1976 RCA CA 097A
Black and white 9 inch TV. Nice red cabinet with UV Plexi screen.
I'll get some better pics of it once cleaned up.
