not really news..he's been at it for a few years now AFAIK

he may not be able to afford his own 707 as he sez in the article,but he certainly has/had the time and money to learn and get his hours in...probably the biggest obstacles to becoming a professional pilot

Well, he's got the screaming down pat, in case of a mishap. This is pretty off-topic, but there was a story on our local news this morning, about a small plane crash somewhere in the mountains. A 3-year-old girl survived, with only minor bruises, because she was in a car seat. She was with her grandfather and another man, but they both died. :sigh:
