Wharfdale W35 speakers. Deal?

So I've been looking at these Wharfdale W-35 speakers on Craigslist. In good shape, work great. The guy is asking $100. Thoughts? I'm interested, just have no experience with Wharfdale.

My thought is if you really really want them and don't expect to run anything you want more then what's a hundred dollars to quibble over? On the other hand if that's not the case then IMO they are overpriced. By the way, I have W-40d that I like the sound of but they do have a warmer coloration that's not what I choose to listen to normally.

As i'm sure you know---W35's are a corner design cabinet, 8" three way, all cone drivers (no foam) in a very nice, heavy, veneered cabinet. Nice smooth warm sound, excellent f/ jazz and classical. Late 1960's early 70's vintage. I would say $50 if everything is in good shape including nice grills and badges.

I saw that they were corner design online, which is where theyd go. I think Ill shoot them an offer of $55. Doubt theyll take it, but Ill be fine either way. I have too much gear anyway, plus I might pick up some Marantz Imperial 5s to put in my GFs apartment. Also picking up a Marantz 2220b for $60.
