I don't know the correct pricing on these, but they look well taken care of. I'd be considering them myself if they would fit in my place, but these would not fit at all. They are H-U-G-E.

Oh, those must be smaller versions. The ones I saw a couple of months ago at a swapmeet were double that.
I think those ones would fit in my patio enclosure fairly well.
I'm not really in market for anything right now anyway. I will be next month though (it's that whole funds availability thing that always comes up).:D Still need plenty of gear to fit out my systems.

Really looking nice and as for the pricing, a really decent deal considering their sound. I love mine and rate them tied with my Bozak 302s.

When looking at them the usual problem is the tweeter. However, generally the tweeter is actually good but the crossover cap is shot. Getting to the tweeter is not as easy as you'd think as it is in a separate enclosure in the cabinet. However, provided the owner did not play them with a high powered amp or at loud levels, the tweeters are pretty bullet proof unlike the later early Wharfedale fried egg tweeters. These SuperTweeter3s really sound nice. If you get them, figure exchanging out the caps. There appear to be a couple of different crossover designs. Mine uses a single cap for the tweeter and my experience is that a poly will yield a harshness that should not be there based on listening to these speakers back when they were in production. The originals in my current set were oils and some day I intend to go get a set of oils and put them in.

I love my W70's as well. Instead of replacing the oil caps (mine have one 4uF oil cap per speaker), I bypassed the cap with a 0.1uF poly, which made a huge improvement in the sound. I'll probably end up replacing the oil caps eventually, but for now I'm pretty pleased.

The caps in mine were shot. One was totally dried out and the other was so far out of spec it was useless.
