- Hi CJ ... after telejunkys joke ----
--- I read your name and I'm afraid all kinds of things went thru my mind .. , I'm going to blame it on him - lol, lol ...... made me wonder if Payne last your last name or just avatar name...
- Thank you for posting your models, and for the additional info on the different variants!!
-------
- Hi telejunky,
- Bozedale, Wharfezak -- LOL , LOL - !!!!!
- Can you post a diagram of what your crossover looks like??
- and maybe what you did for a cover on your mid? ,
- ( how big is your cover??)
- I am interested in trying your crossover and the cover on the mid - !!!
----------
----------
- klipschorn is also helping me with some changes to my W70's as well , he has test equipment and working knowledge of crossover design.... ( unlike myself ) -
- I'm thinking, since yours is different from mine I could build your Xover and his as external Xovers and switch between them .... I would like to compare the two results and post them here maybe others can benefit from it...
----
- Where did you guys find your Model numbers at? , I don't see a model number on the inside, or outside of the box??
-----
mine just has a plate on the back above my two controls that says -
THE RADIO PEOPLE Ltd.
25 CHATHAM ROAD ,
KOWLOON HONG KONG
SERIAL No. 38386
----------
-- My W70 is - Acoustic Suspension , has three drivers , the Midrange is a square red Alnico Magnet, the Woofer and Tweeter are Ceramic // the Speaker has -- one Inductor / coil , one 4uF and one 18uF Capacitor , it has a Treble and a Midrange Potentiometer ... the Midrange doesn't appear to be passive , the only cover is over the Ceramic magnet Tweeter...
Thanks,
Best regards, Dean
-----------
PS. I was going to include in my description - and looks better than all other W70 models.... but well maybe not...
