What adhesive do you prefer for faceplate grommets?

At least from an advertising point of view. Did you read the bottom of the page?
"Fashionandmash.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for website owners to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon (.com, .co.uk, .ca etc) and any other website that may be affiliated with Amazon Service LLC Associates Program"

At the top of the article it says E6000 is white, and towards the bottom it says the E6000 is clear. :dunno:
Then says "Plus, it’s made in the USA. The only gripe is that it is sticky". Sticky? It's glue!:rflmao:

I've settled on E6000 for this application. It is supposed to bond well to certain hard plastics better than cyanoacrylates (SuperGlue). E6000 is an epoxy with some rubber like qualities, making it slightly flexible, vs. the more brittle bond of Superglue. Perhaps not as flexible as Shoe Goo. Which I did not try as I see that Mark (Blueglow) now recommends E6000 (thank you for the link @ncwalz).

Hats off to @steventate for maintaining the original look with 3M window adhesive. Pretty difficult to work with.

Suggestions included E6000, Shoe Goo, hot glue, white glue, contact cement, Surebond 9001, clear silicone, 3M window adhesive, and an undisclosed adhesive with a hint it is a 3M product, possibly for bonding road markers to pavement.

Thank you everyone for your responses!
