What are some good home amps thats will handle 4 ohm loads like Cerwin Vegas speakers. I alread have a pro amp but now want to get a good stereo home amp... Oh yea! That wont cost over $500 bucks!!!

I've got a new Marantz 6004 in my shop system running a pair of 4ohm ADS 400(s). I believe it was $499.00 and works just fine.

Cerwin Vegas are not too hard to drive as a rule. Not like you will need something capable of arc welding. One pair should be handled by that Marantz mentioned just fine.

Most amps will handle 4 ohm. But few go lower. And that is independent of power ratings.
I don't know why any one would want to go lower? I like hifi but I also like the engineering side of car audio
I have looked into making maximum bass and have found that 1ohm amps are just to get every last little bit of power. If I had the money I would opt for a 4ohm system, my sub atm is an eclipse ti pro it takes 2000w the only affordable way to power it was with one ohm. If I had the money I would power it with a bigger amp at 4 ohm because the amp can control the speaker precisely and faster you can see in most amp specs that the higher the ohm's the higher the voltage to the speaker. If I had all the money in the world I would use 12 12" earmagrrd 6500w subs each with their own orion 20000.1 which is really a 5000.4 as it does 5000w into 4ohm but of course with greater cone control and much higher voltage. I would effectively have the most powerful car stereo but at 4ohm which would make it much snappier in cone response.
To the op like suggested above a crown amp will be fine the cerwin vegas are not made to be high SQ speakers on a low power valve amp, they are built for the pro amps. most crowns have acceptable thd so will be fine for the CW's.

Because it's a fundamental requirement of many well regarded and well engineered speaker systems.
My main speakers in my living room system have a nominal impedance of 3.4 ohms, and dip below 2 ohms at certain frequencies, these speakers are over 20 years old, and have been in continuous production to date. I can name a dozen more well regarded loudspeakers with similar impedance characteristics.
Sorry I worded that wrong, I understand that speakers need an amp that can handle them, but I was quoting the post more in rearguards to amps that can go real low. Now I know you said your speakers require it so be it.

A CV speaker tends to be efficient and easy to drive. Most of them are along with Klipsch, Altec, EV, and JBL cornerhorns and the Dynaco A 25 speakers need little power to drive in average rooms. 90 db efficient/1 watt.

Good call. My 20 y/o 9180 has no issues driving Dynaudio 4ohm speakers (the Stratos does it better and the Counterpoint even more so but out of the OPs price range.
