As long as the amps are around 30 to 35lbs is the general rule that I use. I have never had a problem running all of my various low impedances with any of the amps or receivers exept the cheaper plastic, lighter weight units. I don't know much about the gear you are speaking of unfortunatly, but I have used a 4 ohm and lower impedance with all kinds of amp that say 8ohms minimun, unless you are driving the amp into clipping or distortion. :thmbsp:

Those will be okay with 4 ohm loads. Easy with the volume though, if you notice unusual amounts of heat.
Weight can be a good indicator, but really, there are many lighter receivers which are perfectly suitable for 4 ohm loads due to improvements in power supply and out stage technology over the years.
Its simple really: If the amplifier's maker states "4 ohm suitable" or whatever on the rear panel, thats the real indicator.

ive read that the hafler is stable to 2 ohms. just be careful not to over drive, for long periods.
