I heard the CLS-12's and they simply kick ass! good bass and the highs are really good. some of CV's best. some may dissagree.
I've not heard them myself, but I've heard/read the same thing about their newest models.

Those speakers in that picture are Model 1215 SE. You're thinking of the CLS-215.

:yes:I prefer the older C-v's like my 417r's from 1978. Nice MF-61 6 1/2" mid with a 4 lb. magnet system.
