With me it's my Social Security Number. I lose it every time a new factoid comes into play.

Here's that Stravinsky: Firebird Suite introductory fanfare. You can see the brilliance of it's employment for this purpose.
It sounds like they were gonna open with "Going For The One" that night.

That truly is excellent employment of a dramatically building piece!
Squire raising his cup of "tea" to the crowd was priceless! Lol
Stravinsky's box set will be my first formal foray (how is that for alliteration?!?!) into classical music. Looking forward to hearing it!

It's a great signal to the crowd to get quiet, get settled and get ready to be amazed. Also a nice way for the band to interact with the audience before even playing a note.
