What are you Listening To Right Now? - and more

@Mystic
Sounds like In Chicago they've renamed them "every night of the week specials'

"Every night of the week AND weekend bonus Specials" ... while @ 2.12 killings per day over a 365-day period, the killings "cluster" (roughly) between Fridays @round 7:00pm through Mondays @round 2:00am, i.e., the span of a typical Chicago Weekend of Killing, aka, killing time -- and people -- over the weekend. Given homicide data through 10 January 2021, I'm predicting >800 -- let's say 821 -- homicides by 31 December 2021. IMO the Ns (and percent increases) over the past 2-3 decades will also remain unusually high in NYC, LA, Newark, Baltimore, St Louis, Houston, Oakland, Minneapolis-SP, Kansas City, and New Orleans. Let's call it an educated guess and leave it @ that. (Hey -- these recent stats are "better" than the N of homicides and the N per 1,000 population data we saw in the 1970s, 1980s and approximately half of the 1990s)

Freaking phenomenal synth solo!
I don't listen to many of the posted videos on this thread. Obviously, if I did I'd never keep up as fast as the theaad moves. I was going to pass over this one, but the comments on time sig, and the solo, enticed me. I'm not easily impressed by the music I hear. My musical exposure at a young age includes big band jazz and classical, and I found myself drawn to the more complex pieces by the most accomplished musicians. Yes, I have also been steeped in mainstream 60s and 70s folk and rock, but there, too, I have gravitated toward the better musicians. That said, this piece blew my mind! The time sig is 5/8. And the keyboardist has obviously been listening to Chick Corea. Looks like I'm going down a rabbit hole today! Thanks to @MaxxVolume for posting this. @KevinJS take a listen.
