I'm being polite here, I honestly respect the people that contribute to this thread. The individual pictured and featured in a multitude of posts today doesn't deserve the negative connotations being applied. Wether or not we as individuals approve or disapprove of an individual's personal choices of how they present themselves to society it's their personal choice. We don't know the person or they're reasons for being controversial to society's perceived norms. Remember individuality is what defines us and everyone one of us is the child of parents who may not have always understood or liked what we thought we were about but loved us unconditionally I hope this was the case in each of our lives

I'm seeing about the same prices as vinnie , but like you said the quality can be all over the place. I've got some really clean A+ albums for $6 , and I've seen stuff I wouldn't put my stylus through for $15 ~ $25 , there's a guy on market place with a Pink Floyd DSOTM album that the cover alone looks half worn off and he just dropped his price from $80 to $50 , if I saw it in a bin I would probably just scroll past it even for $5 , some people are loosing their minds.
 
To be clear, "blue-haired" (implied queer), pierced, tattooed women who DGAF what horny 70year-olds think — those are my kind of people. Anybody berating them for the way they look, clearly aren't.

I could start ignoring people on here, but it's easier for everybody if I just stick with the technical threads from here on.

Thats good to hear there are albums for reasonable prices out there in other places.

I have wondered for a while as well, people always post their hauls on here, the closest real record store to me is like 45-50 mins away.

those prices are not bad, maybe its worth the drive to check out a real record store.

Record store here is flat out expensive for used LP’s.
eBay is my shopping place and has been for a long time. And that is getting expensive for a lot of sellers even.

I moved to Maui in 2018.
The is only one music store here that has used and new records. Prices are high.
In the musty basement, there are plies of typical junk stuff for $1.

About 3-4 years ago I donated old DVD, VHS, Laserdiscs, books and stuff.
That's when I found The Maui Friends of The Library.
There are three shops. I got to two.
One location sells LPs for $1 the other location for $3. Different overheads.

"The Friends" is non-profit and people drop off stuff there all the time.
I don't do TV, so I enjoy all genre of music.
Found all the Rolling Stones in one pile. Didn't get the ones I already had.

So far got 207 used LPs. Haven't sold any.
When I lived in California, I bought records for $1 or 50 cents.
I've been really fortunate.

For me this is shopgooodwill[dot]com. I have just shy of 200 records. More than half came from lots bought off the aforementioned site (the rest direct buys from artists wherever possible), or local thrift/second hand stores. Your "Stones" back catalogue has me particularly jealous .

it was free. my friend told me it was complete and working 100%. i asked again being explicit that i did not want another table saw project as i had just gotten my current one dialed in.

he lied all the way around. i think i ended up about $250 into the "free" saw. that saw was never right. it couldn't have been right because there is no access to the setting that needed adjusted unless you take the rails off and drill access holes in the edge of the deck. smfh. the time that i spent fighting with that saw......smfh again.

i wouldda loved to see the sub boxes he had been selling. there wasn't a square one in the lot.

Mine is got for nearly free. Think was $20. It's also the Craftsmen version, may by Ryobi. I don't use it much, but not that impressed with the few times I have.
