If it floods higher the that I’m screwed!!!

Me too.I keep everything up now.One thing i do every year is take fill dirt and build up the foundation area around the house that you lose due to erosion and slope it on a grade away from the house.I keep the gutters and window wells clear too.I do this at my mom's house also.

I have everything on inflatable rafts, pool toys and pool noodles. That way the next time it floods I can just have fun instead. The first two times were hell, so I'm not doing that again. I'll just grab my swim shorts, some goggles and flippers, and a case of beer and have myself a good time. I'll just have to remember to shut the power off first. lol
