Heart Broken. I'd only just discovered Glen Hansard's solo work a couple weekends ago (long loved The Frames). Ordered the records on the spot, and they arrived last Friday. We didn't break into them until tonight.

"After performing at a traditional music session in The Wren's Nest pub in Chapelizod on 28 July 2026, Hansard died several hours later in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in the Strawberry Beds area of Dublin on 29 July 2026, aged 56."- Wikipedia

My girlfriend and I (and my daughter in the kitchen doing dishes) have been listening to the first album. Such a loss :(. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam (R.I.P) Glen Hansard .

First time I’ve listened to Nektar. Pretty good
Perfect entry point for Nektar. Probably their easiest to get into considering most of their records are unique listens unto themselves. One of those bands where each record was somewhat different than the next.
I'd love to hear it on 8 track just to hear how they broke that up. The vinyl is part 1 and part 2.
