What are you Listening To Right Now? - and more

2015 Abby Road remaster on ANTHEM records. I think RUSH approached them and did the whole catalog. It’s one of my favorite albums. Sounds fantastic
You'd certainly be in the minority when it comes to that record and Rush fans, but there is a diehard lot of ya! :rflmao:
I'll be spinning that one over the next few days as I've a much less pristine copy that I'll be play testing to see if it can make it to the sell pile or not.
My approach to Rush is that there are no bad records. Just ones better that others.

That’s why music is so cool. There’s some great bass guitar on it and the tunes are pretty cool IMO

To the folks who always say no from that American economic lens, here's a yes. Cone, saved. Surround, saved. Spider, saved. Dust cap, saved. Coil is new and a proper match in terms of gauge, shape of wire and turns.
There are always possibilities, gotta find em. That's my bag. image.pngIMG_7310.jpeg
Now these will work again after I replace the ghastly damping material.

Well hello fam! Jet lag mostly over with, and work week entirely over with! I have a GOAL this weekend: make at least a 1% dent in the pile of projects I have accumulated. Many are audio, many are not. And while they're fun to look at, think about, research, and shop for I have decided to try something new: start and finish them. If this new approach works I intend to write a book about it and launch a speaking tour.

In the meantime I'm listening to a pair of Snell Type C (aka C/i) that I just got back from the speaker gurus at Holt Hill Audio. (thanks @baco99). These are really lovely speakers.

Nice work

Arrived yesterday. Been Curious as I remember loving Johnny Rivers as a kid. Now when I say "kid" it was the 1980's and the only station we could get in the valley's of the Driftless was 94.9 WOLX ("oldies station"). Really didn't know what to expect given the very trippy cover and knowing only his earlier work. But it's a pretty solid listen for a relaxing Friday night with my lady.

Also @Zoot Allures thanks again for the recommendation.
