Man please don't limit yourself to Pizza. Not really the same there. More an appetizer. There's so many great things to eat there. Like @Drybasement, I was there 40 years ago courtesy of the USN, and I did get my pocket picked.
Yeah seriously if you can while you're there, experience true Italian Cuisine. Where possible only eat at actual local only establishments

WFUV for Friday tunes.
WOLX it was "60s at 6" and "Saturday at the 60s". Many a family event was held around a bonfire with someone's car hooked up to a battery charger and a keg #farmlife. After we left the farm and moved into "town" (300 people in a concentrated area apparently constitutes a town in Wisconsin). I remember racing around our block at night on our bikes with the neighborhood kids while Johnny Rivers sang "Secret Agent Man" over a borrowed stereo from the neighbors for my parents 20th wedding anniversary party. We were too poor for media (and with 4 boys under 10, records and tapes were destroyed quickly). Radio was all we had (tapes recorded from it eventually) It was either WOLX or WDMP (Country) or static. Only 3 TV stations too. And I walked to school up hill both ways too

Oh don’t worry, I’m gonna eat plenty of all the other good stuff too - cacio i pepe, carbonara, amatriciana, Suppli, fried artichokes, all that stuff. And yea I got plenty of good spots to check. And know signs to skip places.

But pizza al taglio (cut by size and sold by weight) is really special too, and I’m gonna eat a lot of it :)

Funnily enough the NYT just wrote about it
