I snagged this from the storage laundry room in the triplex where I live. It's from a former tenant in the building.

I took a wrong turn and I just kept going…..

I was chatting with my Mom the other day and I may have let it slip that I have 25+ pairs of speakers. Her eyes popped out of her head.hows it goin?
I forgot to add in my last post but I had a audio related chore today, had to move 6 pairs of speakers out of storage and into my basement, moved them out of the basement at my moms house and then down into the basement at my house, I was sweating my ass off because it was pretty warm out. When I was on my 5-6th trip downstairs after I got them home my wife was standing in the kitchen and as I walked past with a speaker in my arms sweating profusely she sarcastically asked me "is this hobby still worth it"I said I feel its kinda late for a course correction on the gear hoarding issue
In completely unrelated news, I recently installed a dehumidifer in a basement storeroom and moved a bunch of gear out of the upstairs storage closet/hallway/guest bedroom. Happy wife.

What do you use teh R2R for? Are you recording live, recording from source, or playing back prerecorded? I have a nice one and no one seems to want to buy it so I may put it in rotation just for grins and giggles. But I don't really have a grasp of how I would use it.
I have a pair of KLH 23s staring at me right now from across this very room that I haven't listened to yet.
Basement storage protip: find free pallets in your local area and lay them down on the floor. Gear on top of the pallets. Unless you are as sure as sure can be that your concrete has a 100% working vapor barrier.

@Jfaustus I listen to some pre recorded but given the price of those they are few and far between.
I mostly use it to warm up digital to something that doesn’t make my hair stand on end. Gets rid of harsh and bright better than any filter.
Occasionally I’ll record vinyl if I’m trying to save the album.
