Just picked up a pair of “beater” Klipsch Heresy decorator model speakers, no grills, with consecutive serial numbers from 1978. Got them for less than a steak dinner at Catleman’s. Quite a few veneer issues, one dust cover is missing but all the drivers work and they sound great! Say what you want about the old Klipsch speakers, they were built to last!

Just picked up a pair of “beater” Klipsch Heresy decorator model speakers, no grills, with consecutive serial numbers from 1978. Got them for less than a steak dinner at Catleman’s. My plan is to find a vintage integrated or receiver in the 20 to 40 watt range for my shop system that’s a work in progress.
