I have always really liked that Zevon album. A favorite for sureSo while I was out ‘n about I detoured to do some crate digging at a record and pawn shop and discovered an empty storefront. Another one bites the dust in this area. Good news is there was a GW on the way home.
Earlier this week I stopped at the Sarasota Music Archive store. Turns out they’ve been clearing inventory like duplicates and less desirable copies of media. A fair amount of items but most were in rough shape. Turns out they’ve decided that CDs are no longer “in” and have stopped accepting CD donations and are selling off all inventory. Another source gone.
Did come home with these tho … at 50¢ or 5 for $2

Absolutely true. Plenty of great gear out there too. Used high-end players are cheap, and they still make ultra hi end players newBest of times for cd collecting.
I sold my vinyl collection 10 years ago and was able to replace most of the OOP ECM recordings I had for next to nothing.Absolutely true. Plenty of great gear out there too. Used high-end players are cheap, and they still make ultra hi end players new
