Adam and I never interacted, but I could always tell how much he loved his animals. His ability to capture them in poses was amazing IMHO. He is certainly missed on this thread.

i'm about done for the night.
what came out on the left and what's going in on the right.. the mystery "elna" caps all measured 10-15% high and showed leakage on my to-4.
all the caps with the black marker on top are taiwan caps that the guy installed. they will get replaced with ukt
and they cleaned up most corrosive glue but left 2 resistors with corroded leads....so those will be replaced. i'll pull the transistors and heatsinks and put fresh thermal compound on them as long as the pads arent jacked up
it looks like the pots have been slimed so i will evaluate the controls and if they are noise free, i am leaving them alone. the new owner can deal with them down the road. i'm trying to keep the price low for a quick sale on BT.
i never tested this thing. it's supposed to work. i hope it does.
