Already Friday night down under. Brought Moms OG Highway 61 Revisited Columbia Mono home from the states last trip. Quick microfiber clean and played it. Not terrible considering it’s older than I am and doesn’t look to hot under the lights. Think ultrasonic clean will help a bit.

Love the Technics with the SME arm! I have a spare 3009 III that I have thought about swapping into my 1200 mkII... how difficult a swap was it? The original arm on the Technics isn't horrible, but definitely is the weak link on the 1200 mkII...

And smallest you can find right angle RCA for the arm base connection. Tight fit in the SL plinth. I found Hosa cable from a DJ store to be perfectly acceptable. Good cable for the price.
Otherwise great match with the right cartridge. That might be trickier. High compliance MM. I’ve got a Shure V15 V with Jico Boron SAS on mine. Works a treat.
