My inexpensive Vevor has to be my best audio upgrade in decades. It’s the only thing I ever bought that cut the background noise in half. I’m very impressed with it.

The Ruger 10/22 has been the standard in .22's for decades , own 3 of them ,own several Rugers. The Marlin model 60 is also and excellent choice , both of them are tack drivers. own 2 of those but I prefer the Ruger rotary mag over the tube fed Marlin.

I'm assuming the Marlin is a bolt? I have a Marlin 25MN .22 magnum- kinda overkill for most anything pest wise I need... selling it to a guy at work...

He and SRV collaborated and wrote some great songs.

I have a sad confession myself... I fell off the wagon beginning of summer- I was "caesar-free" for close to a year, and when summer hit I started up again... nothing crazy, but yeah, back on the can... I really, really like my caesars!
