I just spent the past 2-3 hours looking for a single tube. I’m really scratching my head right now.

I have a Heathkit AA-30 with a full set of Sovitech tubes; I needed to rob the 7199s from it and one is missing.

This is odd as I only had one other set of amps that used the 7199. The Dynaco MK4s. Those were traded to a fellow AKer a few years ago. That set had a set of Phillips ECG 7199s in it.

I thought I may have pulled one tube for a mono amp but I don’t have any other amps that use the 7199…. And the cage was on the AA-30 so it’s not like it fell out…

The last time I used that amp I don’t remember pulling any tubes from it.

I have other 7199s but I’m going to be testing an amp and don’t want to throw in expensive tubes in an old amp that I’m testing to see if it powers up.

This is absolutely crazy, I have no idea why I’d ever break up a matched set, and if I did I think I would have remembered pulling it to use for another amp. But I have no memory of pulling it…. SMH. I am so confused right now, I went through all my tubes and I found the original boxes for them. WTF

I like cats but only when they are pets. As an 8 year old, I watched my uncle start up his 1967 Camaro and heard a noise. His pet cat, Mandy, was in the engine compartment and jumped into the fan—not a pretty sight. Here in San Diego, I get a ton of snails on my intake manifold and in my barbecue, but as of yet, no felines. Good luck with a solution.

My mom had a stray cat that kept pooping in her back yard right? I used Critter Ridder sold at Home Depot and it worked great. Non -toxic so it won't kill them but,they hate it.Took a couple applications and then no more poop.You got anywhere in there you can sprinkle some?

Cats dislike aluminum foil. Put some foil where the cat goes and after or day or so they will not go back.
